COVID - 19 Information
4/2/2020 Dear Families and my precious students. I miss you so much. I hope that at this unprecedented time in our current history, you are being the young men and women I know you can be. Helping your parents, not fighting with your siblings, cleaning without being asked, and not complaining about having to stay home and away from people who don't live with you. I know it is hard. I wish I could hug you all and snap my fingers and make it go away. Since I cannot, I will give you one suggestion for a daily "to do". Find a way to be make a difference in the lives of the people you live with. Give someone around you an extra hug or a reason to smile. Read a book to a younger sister or brother. Play that second game of Candy Land. Choose kindness. Starting on Monday, April 6, Rutherford County will officially begin its online learning. You will be able to access that information via both my website, email, and the school homepage. The entire fifth grade will have the same resources to use. Like Mrs. Goodwin said, the County has written what the main resources are and we are providing a few extra resources for you to use. The fifth grade has decided to have one extra resource available per subject so as to enhance the learning but not overwhelm you. I am available for questions, help, etc each day. Don't hesitate to send me any questions you have so that I can help you. I love you all. Be safe. -Mrs. Snellgrove

About MeI taught math at the middle school level for 14 years. This is my fourth year in elementary school. I look forward each day to helping my students become not just good math and science students, but lifelong learners and good citizens as I prepare them for the next phase of education.
